New American Paintings is calling for entries for its Northeast juried exhibition-in-print. The juror this year is Michelle Grabner, who was born in Oshkosh, WI. She currently lives and works in Oak Park, IL and Waupaca County, WI, and is Professor and Chair of the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Grabner is also a senior critic at Yale University in the Department of Painting and Printmaking. In other words, she knows her stuff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for emerging artists to get seen by a large audience, as the New American Paintings book is distributed nationally each year to art professionals. Remember, you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take!
